Discover Credit Card Offered
by InternetSecure
Customers enjoy the convenience of an additional
credit card type
January 10, 2000 - InternetSecure Inc. now offers merchant
customers the ability to accept the popular Discover credit
card on their e-commerce websites to accommodate the growing
number of US on-line purchasers. Currently, more than fifty
percent of purchases on InternetSecure’s merchant websites
are made by U.S. customers. The availability of the Discover
credit card will enable Canadian and international merchants
to further cater to the needs of the North American on-line
purchasing market.
InternetSecure is Discover’s largest Canadian customer,
providing approximately 2,000 merchants with the choice of
offering the credit card on their e-retail site. Founded in
1995, InternetSecure is now the only non-financial institution
in the world facilitating U.S.- and Canadian-dollar merchant
status for Internet merchants internationally. As an approved
Internet Merchant Acquiring organization, InternetSecure provides
its customers with bank-approved Canadian and U.S. dollar
Internet merchant status with Visa, Mastercard American Express
and Discover.
